* Alice died at The Manor Asylum, which was in Horton, near Epsom, Surrey, on 17 Jan 1903, aged 36. She may be Alice Jane Harris from the Lieflock Line who married Charles Lovelock in the Wandsworth Registration District in Oct-Dec 1895. Neither of them appear in the 1901, 1911 or 1921 Census Returns.

** This is probably Martha Burton Penny who married Edward Loveluck in the Neath Registration District in 1879. If so, she may actually have been 55 years old when she apparently took herself to the House of Mr Charles Finch, and eventually died in the Paddington Registration District in 1919 aged 64.
