Owners of Land, 1872-73 (England and Wales), C. 1097, LXXII, Part I (1874) for Volume 1, Bedfordshire - Norfolk.
Owners of Land, 1872-73 (England and Wales), C. 1097, LXXII, Part II (1874), Volume 2, Northamptonshire-Yorkshire, and Wales.
The whole lot was then printed in the same 2 parts as Return of Owners of Land, 1873 (London, HMSO, 1875).
|Surname||Forename/Title||Address of Owner||County in which||Extent of Lands||Gross Estimated Rental|
|of Owner||property situated||acres||roods||perches||£||s|
|Lovelock||Edward||Highbury Pk,South, N||Essex||30||0||24||36||0|
Note in a footnote on the first page of the Return for Bedfordshire:
"The address of some owners could not be discovered, and where the entry is in brackets it shows the parish in which the property is situate."
Without checking further I assume that all of the stated addresses of owners are also in the counties where the property is situated. In the case of Edward Lovelock the land is situated in Essex but he lived in The south part of Highbury Park which is N5 in Islington
Note, this survey excluded the Metropolis, but not all of the traditional home counties of Essex, Middx, Surrey and Kent
