Wimbledon

(Examination of the Poor Record. No date - not sworn. However, probable date abt 1746.) William HIGGS. About 25 years ago, when single, he hired himself by the year to Thomas LOVELOCK of Shaw cum Donington, Berks. He married Elizabeth STEVENS at Wandsworth and they have two children Mary (13 yrs) and Ann (11 yrs). In 1727 he had a certificate from Shaw cum Donington to Wandsworth.
