The Will of Edward Lovelocke
of Templeton in the
parish of Kintbury in the County of Berks and Diocese of Sarum.
In the Name of God Amen I Edward Lovelocke of Templeton in the parish
of Kintbury
in the County of Berks Yeoman being weak in Body
but of sound Mind Memory and
Understanding and considering the uncertainty of this transitory life
Do make publish and
declare this my last
Will and Testament in manner
and form following (that is to say)
First I will and
desire that all such
just Debts I shall owe
at the time of my decease
and the Expences of my
Funeral shall be in
the first place found and discharged by
the
Executrix of this my Will Also all my Monies Securities for
Money,CattleCorn Stock
Utensils and Implements of Husbandry and all other
my Goods Chattels and personal
Estate whatsoever and wheresoever that I shall dye possessed of or
interrested I Give Devise
and Bequeath unto my dear and ever loving
wife Elizabeth Lovelocke to do and dispose
thereof as she shall
think fitt, And I do hereby make nominate and appoint her my
said
wife Elizabeth Lovelocke, sole and whole Executrix of this my
last Will and Testament
And lastly I do hereby revoke all former and other Will and Wills by me
at any time or times
heretofore made declaring this
and no other to be my last Will and Testament In
witness whereof I have to this my last Will and
Testament sett my hand and seal the eighth
day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand seven
hundred sixty nine Signed
Sealed published and declared by the said Edward Lovelocke the Testator
to be his last Will
and Testament in the presence
of us who in his presence and
at his request have subscribed
our names as Witnesses thereto

This Will was proved at Newbury on the 3d July 1773 before
the Revd Richd Keble Clk B.D. lawful Surrogate of the Worshipful
Chas Gould M.A. Chanr of the Diocese of Sarum and by him Admin of the
Effects of the deced was granted to Elizabeth
Lovelocke Wido of the Deced
& sole Extrix within
named being first sworn
to the Truth of the sd Will
to pform the same to
make a true effect Invry
& render a just acct
when
lawfully reqd
