In the name of God amen I Gabriel Lovelock of
Grange Farm in the parish of Shaw in the County of Berks yeoman
being of sound mind and memory but weak in body do make and ordain
this my last Will and Testament first remitting my Soul to God
hoping for
Salvation thro’ the merits of Jesus Christ our redeemer and my
body to the earth
for decent interment at the direction of my Executor and Executrix
herein after
named in manner following First I give devise and bequeath unto my
brother Thomas Lovelock and his son Thomas Lovelock and their
Heirs
the sum of seven hundred and twenty pounds In Trust for the use
and purposes following that is to say In Trust for the interest
thereof to
be laid out and applied towards the maintenance and Education of
my six daughters Elizabeth Martha Mary Lucy Ann and Hannah
until they shall have respectively attained their several Ages of
One and
twenty years and also in trust for the payment of the sum of One
hundred
and twenty pounds to each and every of my said daughters so soon
as they
have attained their respective Ages of One and twenty years and my
Will is
that if any or either of my said daughters shall happen to die
before her or them having
attained the age or ages of One and twenty years that the share or
shares of her or
them dying shall be equally divided amongst the Survivors of them
Also I give
to my daughter Elizabeth my round Oak table and Martha my daughter
my
Parlour Clock and my daughter Lucy my best Bed and appurtenances
and Chest of
Drawers All the rest and residue of my personal Estate and Effects
I give devise and bequeath unto my beloved Wife Martha Lovelock
my just debts and Testamentary Expenses being first paid and
Satisfied And I do hereby institute and appoint my said Wife
Martha to be be Executrix and my son William Lovelock Executor
jointly of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof
I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this fifth day of November

lawfully
constituted by the Oath of Martha Lovelock Widow the Relict of the
deceased
and one of the Executors therein named to whom Admon was granted
being
first sworn duly to administer Power reserved of making the like
grant to
William Lovelock the son of the deceased and other Executor
therein named
when he shall apply for the same
