The Will of John Lovelock of Warminster

 In the Name of God Amen
I John Lovelock of the parrish of Warminsterin the County of
Wilts Blacksmyth being in good health and of good and perfect memory (blessed be God for it)
yet considering the uncertainty of this life Doo make and ordaine this my last will and testament
in writing in manner and form following (that is to say) first I comend my soul unto god
who gave it me hopeing that through the merrits of my saviour Jesus Christ I shall obtain
the remission of all my sins and my body I comitt to the earth from which it was taken to
be decently buried in Christian buriall according to the discretion of my executor hereafter
named And for my worldly goods and chattles I dispose thereof as followeth
Imprimis I give unto my daughter Ann Rundall tenn pounds Item I give unto my grandson Richard
Rundall five pounds Item I give unto my grandson John Rundall five pounds Item I give unto
my grandaughter Edith Rundall tenn poundsItem I give to my grandaughter Elizabeth Love
-lock tenn pounds and my will is further the ten pounds before given to my daughter Ann Rundall
be paid to her in twelve months after my decease and the others moneys above expressed my
will is yt my executor pay the same to the severall Legates before .....(?) when they shall att
-ains to the age of one and twenty years or when they marry which soever doth first
happen Item I give unto my grandson John Lovelock my two tenements of houses which is upon
Mr Ludlows Estate on the other side of the way over against Mr Holldays and my will is yt
his father Nicholas Lovelock shall mannage the said domicile and receive the profits thereof
until my grandson attains to the age of one and twenty years for the use and benefit of my
said grandson Item I give unto my kinsman William Edwards of Loadham (?) in the parish of
Warminster Clothier five shillings and my will is that all the rest of my goods and chattles
rights and credits of what nature quality and condition soever not before by this my will
given willed devised or bequeathed my debts and Legacies being paid and my funerall rights
being discharged be att the sole dispose of my son Nicholas Lovelock for the good of his
children which Nicholas Lovelock I ordaine and appoint my sole executor of this my
last will and testament and I desire my Kinsman William Edwards before named to be
overseer of this my will praying him to use his best endeavour that the same may
be performed according to my intent and meaning in this my will In Witness
whereof I have hereunto put my hand Seale the twenty eighth day of
ffebruary in the second year of the reign of Sovereign Lady Ann Queen over England
& in the year of our Lord God one thousand seven hundred and three 1703
