The Will of Nathaniel Lovelock of Kintbury in
                     the County of Berks and Diocese of Sarum.
In the Name of God Amen the sixtenteth day of October and in the year of
Our Lord God One Thousen Seven hundred and Thirty Seven I Nathaniel Lovelock of Templeton
in the parish of Kintbury in the County of Barks husbandman being at this time of good and perfect
mind and memory thanks be to Almighty God for the same dow make and declare this my last Will
and Testament in manner and forme   following (that is to say)   first I revoke and   annull by
thease presents all and every Testement and Testements Will and Wills hearetofour by me made
or declared either in word or in writing and this is to be taken only for my last Will and testament
and none other and ase touching such Tempriole Esteat Goods and Chattls ase it hath pleased
God to bestow   upon me I do give and dispose   offe ase followeth (that is to say) first I do
order heareby and desire that all such Depts and Dus ase I shall owe to Eaney parsun or
persuns whatsoever at the time of my deasease shall be well and truly sadisfide and
paid by my Exicutor hearein after named and apoynted weethen Twelve months time
after my deacease and also I give and bequeath unto my Sister Mary wife of Thomas
Elger the sum of Twenty Pounds and also I give and bequeath unto my Sister
Catharin wife of William Kimber the sum of Twenty Pounds and also I give and
bequeath unto Robart Tamige brother to my Loveing Wife deaceased the sum of Five
Pounds and also I give and bequeath unto Mary Tamige Daughter of the said Robart
Tamige the sum of Five Pounds and also I give and bequeath unto my Nephew
John Lovelock son of my brother William Lovelock the sum of Twenty Pounds together
weth one Bead Beadsteed and Beading thereunto belonging not my varey bestBead
and beading a middling sorte such sorte ase my Trustees and my Executor shale think
feet and also I give and bequeath unto Jane Barns wife of Thomas Barns the sum of
Twenty Pounds together one Bead Beadsteed and Beading thearunto belonging not
my varey best Bead and Beading a Mideling Sorte Such ase my Trustees and my
Executor Shall think feet and also I give and bequeath unto my Godsun Nathaniel
Lovelock the Sun of my Naphew William Lovelock the Sum of Twenty Pounds (that
is to say) Ten pounds parte thareof to be paid within Twelve Months time after
my deacease with the intent and maning to keep him at Schooll and the other Ten
pounds parte thareof to be paid him at Fourteen years of age with the intent and
meaning to put him Aprintice to Sum Trades if he Chuseth a Trade or the money to
have himself at the age of Twenty one years if he arives to that age and also I give
unto Thomas Elger and William Kimber and John Lovelock and Thomas Barns the
Sum of Twenty pounds more to be Eaquly devided between them (that is to say) Fifty
Shillings apeice in lue of Goods and also I do nomanate and apoynt my Nephew William
Lovelock Son of my Brother William Lovelock to be my full and whole and sol Exicutor of
this my last Will and Testement giving to him one hundred pounds with my best sute
of waring aparil with all the overplisse money that my effects amounts to more then
payeth my Leagetees and also I give all the rest of my waring aparil unto William
Kimber and John Lovelock and Thomas Barns by Even and aquall potions ase my
Exicutor Shall thenk proper and also fourther my will is that my funaril Shall be
ordered derected and maniged by and at the descration of my two Sisters Mary Wife of
Thomas Elger and Catharine Wife of William Kimber or the longest lever of them and
fourther my will is that all my funaril Expences Shall be paid and discharged by my
Exicutor William Lovelock hearin befour named and appoynted and fourther my will is
that all my funaril Expences and the afoursaid Som and Sums of money given to my
Legetees Shall be paid wethen Twelve months time after my decease of good and Lawfull
money of Grate Bratain and also I do Nomanate and apoynte Peter Knight of Inlase
and Benjamin Bransdon of Inglewood to be my full and Sole Trustees for me and in my
steed for to se my will honistly and faithfully performed giving to them one Guney
apece as a token of my love to bye them a Ring In Wittness whareof I the said
Nathaniel Lovelock Testator above named have heareunto Set my hand and sale

                  This will was prov’d at Newbury ye 8th day of July 1738 before the Revd
                  John Nourfolk Mr of Arts Lawfull Surrogate of the Revd & Worshipfull
                  Charles Naylor Ck Dr of Laws Chanc of the Diocese of Sarum and by him
                Adrow of the Effects of the Testator was granted to Wm Lovelock the Extor
                therein named being first sworn to the truth of the Sd Will to perform the
        Same and to Exhibit an Invty & Acct when Lawfully required.
