Privacy
The information on this Web Site is the
result of a collective effort by a fairly large number of
people, and most of it has been obtained from public documents
available in published form, either at historical archives or
on-line. Some information has been supplied by private
individuals about their own families.
The privacy of living persons is
respected. Information supplied by individuals about their own
relatives who may still be alive will not be publicly
displayed on this Web Site. Information obtained on living
individuals from public sources may be displayed as source
material, for example UK Civil BMD Indexes. However, once
source information is analysed and constructed to show
relationships and family connections, such as in the compiling
of family trees, details of all living persons, other than
their names, will be excluded.
Information supplied by individuals will normally be acknowledged on the Web Site unless requested otherwise. However, email addresses will normally not be included, to prevent spam harvesters from collecting and misusing addresses. Any personal contact information provided by you, for example your email or home address, will not be passed on to any third party without specific permission from you.
This Web Site contains links to other sites. No responsiblity is taken for the content and the privacy practices of those sites. You should examine each site's privacy policy and make your own decisions regarding the site and the information it contains.
Accuracy
Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy
of the information obtained and the family lines that have been
constructed using it. However, errors may creep in, and original
and/or secondary sources may themselves contain mistakes.
Sometimes we present speculative family lines to stimulate
discussion and further research. Visitors are encouraged to
advise us of any inaccuracies they find, and/or to add to the fund of
information wherever they can, by sending an email to the
Lovelock Discussion Group:
