26-Dec-03: Added Fragment 19 to the Collected Lovelock Fragments This is a branch of Kathleen Pearson (née Lovelock) linking Marlborough, Reading, and eventually Surrey, provided by Graham Lovelock.
30-Nov-03: Added Lovelock extracts for Middlesex from the 1851 census, provided by Helen Norton, compiled by Robert Sterry
24-Nov-03: Added or updated the following material, all provided by Robert Sterry Oct/Nov 2003:
- Added a page for Surrey Lovelock records, which includes Lovelock extracts from parish records and Surrey poor laws. There is also a link to the 1901 census extract for Surrey which were already available
- Updated the index of wills on the Lovelock PCC Wills page
  Note from Robert: I just received the FRC newsletter from London and they noted that all the PCC Wills up until 1858 have now been digitised. This project has been in progress for some time and it is excellent that it is now complete. Copies of any Wills can be downloaded for three pounds - which is very reasonable. So I took the opportunity of updating the index on the Lovelock PCC Wills page that I researched ages ago.

22-Mar-03: Another update to The Lieflock Line, the note on Lieflock Line Actions, and the corresponding Wiltshire Lovelocks gedcom file.
This update covers all the comments in the discussion between Graham Lovelock and Robert Sterry on the Lieflock line, apart from a small number of comments for which there was no agreed conclusion.
This update also includes additional data on some Lieflock line branches, including:
- Details provided by Graham of his paternal branch, starting with the second marriage of John L (bap 14 Jun 1815 Gt Bedwyn) to Ann Andrews
- Ken Gigg's branch, from Elizabeth L. (1846-?) and Edwin Waters

This update covers comments up to (hh) in the discussion between Graham Lovelock and Robert Sterry on the Lieflock line.
28-Feb-03: Added the capability to browse the Wiltshire Lovelocks using the Ahn Java Applet V4.0 developed by Helmut Braess.
This program allows you to view information in the database (actually in the corresponding GEDCOM file) either in textual (list) or graphic form. The textual form includes essentially all of the available information (including notes, source references, etc.), whereas the graphic form just shows the family tree with name, year of birth and year of death (where available) for each individual. The data can be presented as either a descendent or an ancestor tree. You can switch between the different views and move around the tree dynamically.
23-Feb-03: Using a tool which automatically produces maps of surname distribution from the 1881 census, I added further maps showing the distribution of Lovelocks in the 1881 census:

This version includes all the wonderful Berkshire Lovelock marriages that John Lovelock kindly obtained from the Berkshire FHS from their latest Marriage Index into the Lovelocks in Berkshire file. Of the 162 Lovelock marriage entries, 63 were new!
The combined vital records (mostly BDMs) for Lovelocks in Berkshire now represents over 80% of the approx 180 church parishes in Berkshire! A pretty impressive resource by any standard. Quite a few non-conformist records are also included.
