(from the Wilts FHS transcript of baptisms and burials) provided

includes additional records extracted by Robert Sterry. Now
includes all Lovelock records from the 1871 census for Wilts.

number of trees and fragments, the Wilts
gedcom file and the corresponding Java applet. Updates to

- Lyneham Line:
- Additional data for a large number of individuals (in particular Lyneham parish records, census data, etc.) from Sue Lovelock, on the descendants of George L and Martha Gough from Lynn Squire (including parish records for Lydiard Tregoze, Broad Hinton and Wroughton), Alan Gibbs and Robert Sterry.
- Added data from David Lovelock (not the Arizona one) on a branch of the Lyneham Line (descendants of Tom L (1858-1937) and Emily Humphries).

- 1-Oct-04: Thanks to
Yann Lovelock and Robert Sterry the electronic version of the
Lovelock Lines newsletter is now available for download. To
allow for different bandwidths two files are available:
- A high-resolution version (about 1 MB)
- A low-resolution
version (about 420 KB)
- 30-Sep-04: Updated the Lovelocks in Wiltshire file. The changes include additional IGI entries together with records extracted by Robert for Collingbourne Ducis, Collingbourne Kingston, Fyfield by Marlborough and Shrewton. Some redundant material has been eliminated, and a number of minor corrections were made, in particular concerning the flagging of different lines.
- 29-Sep-04: Updated
the Lovelocks
in Glamorgan file. Additional records from the Glamorgan
FHS indexes of parish records and others provided by
collaborators, in particular by Helen Jones. Flagged entries
corresponding to the Glamorgan Loveluck Line (GL).
- 24-Sep-04: Made more changes to the "Trees & Fragments" section:
- The "Collected Lovelock Fragments" page (see 26-Aug-04) has been replaced by a "Misc. Trees" page which contains a number of trees and fragments which do not belong to the Wiltshire Lovelock Trees or Berkshire Lovelock Trees pages
- A page of Early Lovelock
Fragments has been created which contains the original
versions of the "Collected Lovelock Fragments" (see 26-Aug-04) together with
early versions of fragments for a number of Wiltshire parishes
- 21-Sep-04: Added a
scanned copy (provided by Graham Lovelock) of a report on the Lovelocks
Alive 2004 gathering from Family History Magazine
- 26-Aug-04: The Lovelock Trees and Fragments were reorganised as follows:
- An overview of Lovelock Family Trees with a table of the most extensive trees we have produced
- The Collected Lovelock Fragments (which still contains some redundant material)
- The Wiltshire Lovelock Trees,
which has been restructured and now includes a table of
Wiltshire Lovelock trees of significant size. Redundant
material has been eliminated
- The Berkshire Lovelock Trees
which is unchanged since the last update on 9-Jun-04
- 26-Aug-04: Following
extensive cross-checking of the previous version of the Lovelock
database against the Lovelocks in
Wiltshire by Parish file a number of points were discussed
by email during July and August 2004, and the resulting
consensus was incorporated into an updated version of the
(Wiltshire) Lovelock gedcom file
- 2-Aug-04: Updated the Lovelocks in
Wiltshire by Parish file.
This Update follows Robert's visit to London. The update is mainly the rechecked Great Bedwyn PR (using films of original PRs and modern transcipts) for which there were previously some variances. However, there are also some new or modified entries for other parishes, including Alldbourne, Highworth and Pewsey. - 24-Jul-04: Updated

- 21-Jul-04: Changed the layout of the Web pages to use a different navigation mechanism - instead of a navigation bar at the left hand side, the Web pages now use drop-down menus at the head of the pages. This avoids the use of frames, with the attendant problems (e.g. printing a page, indicating a URL, ...)
- 30-Jun-04:
Modified the PicoSearch utility on the home
page such that it is now possible to search either: the
whole site; just the LovelOck pages; or just the LovelUck pages.
The PicoSearch utility is now also accessible from the Lovelock search page - in this case the
search covers just the LovelOck site.
- 24-June-04: Added
lots more photos of the Lovelocks Alive '04 event. Because of
the large number of images, there are three separate pages of
thumbnails. Click on the thumbnails for full sized images:
