29 Jan 2026: Details of Brian Lovelock, geothermal scientist and illustrator, were added to the page of Notable and Noteworthy Lovelocks.
29 Jan 2026 The Descendant Tree for the Tangley Tree has been updated, to make it consistent with the gedcom file on the Webtrees site. The number of individuals in the tree has not changed compared to the previous version, but the update includes a number of editorial amendments and additions.
28 Jan 2026 The Descendant Tree for the Lieflock Line has been updated, to make it consistent with the gedcom file on the Webtrees site. The tree now includes 4572 descendants of the progenitor (of whom 1697 are Lovelocks) compared to 4554 and 1687 respectively in the previous version. The tables on the Lovelock Family Trees (Overview) and Wiltshire Lovelock Family Trees pages have been updated accordingly. The tree is included in the wilts-trees1 gedcom file, and the updated version of this file, which corresponds to that on the Webtrees site, can be downloaded from the gedcom files page.
28 Jan 2026: The Descendant Tree for the Lambeth-Australia and New Zealand Tree has been updated, to make it consistent with the corresponding gedcom file on the Webtrees site. The number of descendants of the progenitor is now 699 (of whom 258 are Lovelocks) compared to 692 and 253 respectively in the previous version. The table on the London and Middlesex Lovelock Family Trees page has been updated accordingly. The gedcom file, which corresponds to that on the Webtrees site, can be downloaded from the Gedcom Files page.
12 Jan 2026: The page of Lovelock transcriptions from the GOV.UK 'Find a Will' Web Site for 1996 onwards was becoming unacceptably long, so it has been divided up into individual years, with the intention of easing searches. The individual pages can be accessed from the Wills and Probate page. The link to the page providing all of the entries has been retained in order to enable blanket searches.
11 Jan 2026 The Descendant Tree for the Lieflock Line has been updated, to make it consistent with the gedcom file on the Webtrees site. The tree now includes 4554 descendants of the progenitor (of whom 1687 are Lovelocks) compared to 4549 and 1685 respectively in the previous version. The tables on the Lovelock Family Trees (Overview) and Wiltshire Lovelock Family Trees pages have been updated accordingly. The tree is included in the wilts-trees1 gedcom file, and the updated version of this file, which corresponds to that on the Webtrees site, can be downloaded from the gedcom files page.
9 Jan 2026: The page of transcriptions from the GRO Online Index of Deaths from 2007 onwards was becoming unacceptably long, so it has been divided up into individual years, with the intention of easing searches. The individual pages can be accessed from the main GRO page. The opportunity provided by this rearrangement has been taken to reorganise the entries so that they are recorded in alphabetical order of the first names of the individuals within each quarter.
6 Jan 2026: The Descendant Tree for the Luckington-Dowdeswell Tree has been updated, to make it consistent with the corresponding gedcom file on the Webtrees site. The number of descendants of the progenitor is now 630 (of whom 306 are Lovelocks) compared to 629 and 306 respectively in the previous version. The tables on the Gloucestershire Lovelock Family Trees and Wiltshire Lovelock Family Trees pages have been updated accordingly. The gedcom file, which corresponds to that on the Webtrees site, can be downloaded from the Gedcom Files page.
6 Jan 2026 Details of Lovelock and Loveluck Births and Deaths in 2024 were added. The data has been transcribed from the UK General Record Office Online Indices. The new entries may be accessed through the GRO Records for England and Wales page.

In both cases the number of individuals in the tree has not changed compared to the previous versions, but the updates take into account a number of editorial amendments and additions, such as Census entries, precise dates for some events and elimination of errors and typograhical mistakes.
